Arabian Horse Times and Jeff Wallace European Summer Tour of 2015
What a day at the Emerald Trophy Show in Belgium it was. The weather a bit strange but we all seemed to weather it well. Helen Hennekens van-Nes did an amazing job too – a real trooper who offers the warmest of welcomes.
The quality was very special as there were many beautiful horses but the one that really stood out today was the gorgeous chestnut Magnum Psyche daughter, Isadora Joy, bred by Joy Arabians and shown by Glenn Schoukens for her new owners from Iran, I believe. A mare who represents the famous blend from the past, that of Psyche and Bey Shah+ – tried and true. We wish Isadora Joy the very best.
Another entry that caught my eye was the successful breeding stallion RFI Farid presented beautifully by Frederik Van Sas for owner Dr Ghanem. A stallion for me who looks like the perfect combination of *Pesniar and Blue Spruce Tanzeer. I love the width between his eyes and his overall smoothness.
If I was going to take a filly home for breeding it would be Christine Jamar’s bay filly Paris J by Emerald J, a son of *Emandoria, and from the beautiful Palmeta daughter, Polish Junior Champion Filly Palabra by Enzo. She is a wonderful filly that just oozes a certain breediness about her. To Equator she would go!
More to Come
